On a warm and sun-drenched winter afternoon, at the L-Art Gallery Shenzhen space, we hosted our inaugural VIP private salon with ten fellow art collectors and enthusiasts following the gallery's opening.

Gallery Director Gan Ting shared profound insights into the value of art collection and art as an asset. Collecting is not only an intellectual choice for asset allocation but also a spiritual journey of self-discovery and a practice of an elevated lifestyle. Art, through being collected, safeguarded, and passed down, serves as the finest link connecting individuals, families, society, and history.

Following this, as the curator, Gan Ting provided an in-depth introduction to the gallery's opening exhibition—Zhang Zhaoying's solo exhibition "Lifelong Picture." The dramatic, appropriated, and collaged images dissolve grand narratives within a theatrical space, inviting us to reexamine reality and illusion in the "society of the spectacle."

During the light refreshments and fine wine session after the lecture, guests engaged in free-flowing conversations surrounded by artworks. Art allowed everyone to transcend the mundane trivialities of daily life, offering spiritual joy and healing.
